Rooted Deep, Standing Strong: UNSHAKEN Youth Camp 1.0

The UNSHAKEN Youth Camp 1.0, organised by the GSC Family Life Mental Health Ministry, was successfully held on 13 June 2026 at the GSC Hall, bringing together young shepherds and teenage youths for a meaningful day of learning, fellowship, and personal growth.

Guided by the theme “Rooted Deep, Standing Strong,” the camp encouraged participants to build strong foundations in faith, resilience, and emotional well-being to help them navigate life’s challenges with confidence and hope.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in team-building activities, group discussions, and interactive sessions that fostered friendship, communication, and mutual support. One of the highlights was a session on emotional health, where youths learned practical ways to recognise emotions, manage stress and anxiety, and support friends who may be facing challenges of their own.

The camp provided a safe and welcoming environment for young people to share experiences, ask questions, and discover that mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are closely interconnected. The enthusiasm and active participation of the youths reflected the importance of nurturing supportive communities where young people can grow and thrive.

The organisers extend their heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers, facilitators, parents, and supporters who contributed to the success of the camp.

As participants returned home, they carried with them the inspiring message of being deeply rooted in faith and standing strong in the face of life’s challenges.

Stay tuned for UNSHAKEN Youth Camp 2.0, which will take place on 1 August 2026, as we continue this journey of growth, resilience, and faith together.
